The President of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, announced the closure of borders until the end of March, to fight against the advance of the Covid-19 coranovirus in the country.

The president also suspended classes in all schools in the country and recommended that citizens reduce traffic on the streets.

So far Argentina has little more than 50 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and the Government wants to stop the spread of the disease so as not to end up like Italy and Spain that are paralyzed today.

Meanwhile, all Argentine companies, along with meat and grain production and exports, continue to function normally.

The Argentine government is expected to announce economic measures in the next few hours to help small and medium-sized companies that may be affected by the advance of the coronavirus.
